Hey everyone..
I was just about to go out for a night forby with one of my mates.. And I thought that I better go out and attach the D-Shackles to the recovery points on my car, so I don't forget them...
And than I realised.. That due to the fact that I have never actually needed to be pulled out.. I had NO idea where to attach them..
There are a number of different points on the front, and the back.. But I was wandering which ones were the best points to use on the front and back..
Cheers :)

you need to get your self some rated recovery points the ''standard tie down points are NOT a recovery points'' use your tow barif you need to but not anound the ball itself.

Ive used all of them and so far ive snapped the front right tie down hook and bent the loop into a straight rod. The strongest tie down on mine is the rear one, but as said some rated hooks would be the way to go.

Also when i recover (one car being a LWB GQ patrol) i dont take off from standing still until the strap has some tension.

Using the tie down loops as recovery points is stupid and dangerous if a shackle came through your back or front window and hit you theres a fair chance you won't walk away!

the one in the middle of the chassis at the front and the tow bar on the rear are best youll get out of the box, dont recover anything heavier than you and dont let anyone recover you unless you trust them and youll be right, remember 4 or 5 people will push a sierra out of pretty much any situation so it makes recovery easy :)

do you carry these blocks with you everywhere you go? and is two enough, I was considering carrying 3 with me but being a sierra i'm limited for room.
