ouch.. suggestion.. 4k or a vit carb. both will be ALOT cheaper and perform a whole lot better than the POS sittin atop your intake manifold atm.

define 'its still sh8t' whats the issue? bogging? idle? choke? give us a run down on what the $400 spending entailed and we can suggest other places to look.. Are you 100% sure its a carb. issue and not another issue elseware!?

Need more info... it may be as simple as a leaking Vacuum pipe, or a blocked jet from stuffed filter... give us all the info you can...

are you running a fuel filter under the bonnet? If not, its suggested you do.. clean out your idle jet, put an inline filter in, and im going to guess the issue will be rectified.. The idle jets are only small and tend to clog with minimal grit.. there is a few threads on how to clear, but I find carby cleaner with a flexi nozle does the job... others will say the old rag over the carbie.. but in the end.. its still doing the same thing.. blowing(or sucking) the crap thru the jet..
