hey all took my front bar off today to find only four bolts hold it on and was thinking when i get a bullbar will i need to drill holes in the mounts or is it held by four bolts cause it dosnt seem right cheers

mate these are the bullbar mounts that will come with the bar, they pick up the 4 stock mounting bolts. i drilled 2 m12s through the chassis to strengthen them.

i used these mounts to mount my winch bar and winched from them several times. theyre strong


EDIT: you dont need to use the m12s through the chassis. tjm designed them to just use the stock points

That's all there is stock - 2 little M8s. Not nearly enough to trust with a recovery pull IMO.

Most of us punch two M12s through those front nubs, some (I think Christover?) wrapped a mount down around the front crossmember as well.

My mounts are stock.
Tho bar is lifted to match the body lift.

Might end up getting arb bar, so thats the way to go by the looks of things but if I drill the two holes im mostlikly going to drill into the bullbar aswell which os not a problem
