okay so iv had a few answers and so far iv come up with this
if mine has a certain chassis then a 1.3 lt and 5 speed box should bolt stright in

how do i tell ?
iv beed told if my chassis has the extra bolt holes and thats as far as i can get i was abit lost had a look at the engine mounts and there is a spare hole there on either side so does that mean it wil bolt stright up or

please explain ??
i really need some good advice had so many mixed answers

per engine mount uses two holes , so i dont think theres a spare. as in the title a 1.3 5 speed wont bolt straight into a sj40

Why do you need to start a new thread for this?

1. Do you have a plastic dash, the full width, not just around the instruments?

2. Do you have 3 bolt holes on each side of the chassis engine mounts? (You have said YES, you do)

If your answer to both these questions is YES, then a 1.3 engine will bolt in.
