What does a new set of rocker arms and shafts worth for a sohc g13b. I forgot to price them up from Repco today and I want to weigh up my options tonight. |

2nd hand would be good.(would have to be in sweet nik though) Does the gti dohc head fit up to my sohc block? Would I need a new timming belt tensioner or dizzy drive? |

It's on the cards just tying to find my best option thanks for the help. Has anybody got new rockers before? Or does anybody have a good head laying around? |

Yes!! Turns out my valve train is all good. It was just the gay Chinese verniors I was using.(now twisted in a knot and thrown in the bin hehehe) I waved the mitotoyos over it and everything came up within limits |

G13b as in the GTi engine which has a DOHC head and operates the valves directly off the camshaft, as opposed to the 8 valve head that you have which uses rockers. The engine you have is known as a G13ba. Yeah confusing i know
