I am after a little info on the G16A, i need to know the following details if anyone has them hand or has a link to an online service manual. Spark plug gap and rec type rec oil and quantity oil filter (best recommended) Timing Any other info of value would be appreciated Just put the engine into my Sierra last week and need to give it a little TLC. Also on a side note, is it possible to put the 16V head on a G16A, are they all the same bottom ends? |

You'll need 16V pistons, otherwise your pistons and valves will become very, very close friends... |

not sure if it will make much difference with your questions, but is it EFI or carby? The G16A came out in both types, although i believe the Carby is the more common |

Not sure about the timing as i forgot how i did mine but it was some thing like 4th piston TDC turn cam until rotor button firing on no1. Some one will correct me if im wrong. |

Piston 1 at TDC and rotor button firing on no. 1 |

Spark plug gap and rec type NGK BPR6EY-11 they come gapped to 1.1mm rec oil and quantity best 15-40 you can afford, I stick 5l in mine oil filter (best recommended) Z172 unless you have Aircon or power steerthem maybe Z418 Timing 6-10 degrees BTDC, run as much as you can without pinging Any other info of value would be appreciated use better than good coolant, even if it means you cant affford to eat for a week |

G16A Carby? I have NGK BP6ES listed, with alternatives ND W20EX-U, Champion N9YC. |

R for resistor, less radio noise and easier to get, Y is V groove end rather than flat, free horsepower and arent teh later ones all 1.1mm gap? |
