Just a couple of things to consider.

the effect of fitting a smaller diameter wheel is that you will have to move your hands quicker to move the wheels at the same speed. This is the same as slowing the ratio of your steering down. If you have vitara power steering and a vitara pitman arm, it will already be pretty slow, you won't want to slow it any more.

MoMo wheels are pretty expensive. I've had MoMo before in off road cars and they are lovely, but if you do lots of mud, climb in and out through the windows when you are stuck in deep ruts etc, you'll be pretty hard on the wheel.

All suzuki's I'm aware of have the same steering wheel spline. I have a Baleno wheel on my (1.0) sierra, but swift wheels, Vitara wheels, and probably everything else fits. (I know the excellent, small diameter Cappuccino wheel fits a sierra too) These wheels are smaller diameter than the sierra wheel, and also have more "dish" - so the wheels sits closer to you. This goes a long way to fixing the dodgy ergonomics stock sierras have.

Whilst I like a nice steering wheel, and I'm planning one like Atari's in my next build, you don't really need to make a big investment to get the benefits.

Hi all Thinking of a new Steering Wheel for my sierra, but wanting to know what size wheel should I get. I got power steering so anysize would work but should I stick with the same size as the original wheel (380mm I think). Dont get a cheap wheel... U get what you pay for... Cant go wrong with a momo wheel... Awesome, comfy and a good size... The only problem is that the speedo is obscured by the top of the wheel.

I've got a 350mm wheel on my Vitara with power steering & it's fine, I agree with rpmwrx... buy a quality wheel, you will feel the difference ever ytime you drive.

Also keep in mind that 350 is as small as you can go in alot of states, and that you will be making it harder to turn the wheel by fitting a smaller wheel..... less leverage. Ofcoarse powersteer fixes that

the size difference on mine compared to the stock wheel is very marginal & i can't say i've noticed the difference in steering speed but a massive improvement in comfort & feel, it's a fair bit thicker than the stocker & it doesn't feel like i'm holding onto a piece of plastic covered wire.. the extra dish in the wheel is great as when in my normal driving position i can comfortably rest my wrists on the wheel, leaving my arms in a relaxed position when wheeling. my biggest concern is most wheels aren't perfectly centred or round so when spinning the wheel from lock to lock they wobble in your hands. i was looking at the Nardi "drift style" sports wheels but at over $300 for the wheel & high the possibility of it getting trashed off road i ended up with that one for just over $100, they're also available in suede.

I'll second that. I love momo wheels and I wouldnt turn one down but I try to make all my mods stealth. The GTi wheel ive got blends right in with its suzuki center and its a direct bolt on with all the auto cancel intact. The one thing I had to get used to (and would apply to all deeper dish wheels) is that fact the distance to the wiper and indicator stalks increases, so I was forever pulling the light stick back into 'low beam' and flashing people haha.
