any upholsterer can crimp new ones for you... just find the one nearest to you - shouldnt cost much at all. |

Spotlight, Lincraft have kits you can buy with buttons and a die to fit the buttons with a hammer. |

Also found out yesterday..Thanks to B4T, Spotlight or Lincraft also sell them.. and in black! around the same price.. Edit: Drover beat me to it! |

Thanks i will see what bunnings have, do you just relace the top of the button in the fabric and leave the screwed in peice in the body? I might put a little but of vasoline on the new ones, it should stop them from getting stuck and snapping instead of popping off. |

yep. leave whats screwed in there, they are a pretty universal ft.. id be test fitting just to be sure thou.. A SMALL washer(or if you are into RC..shim) when you reflare the button should stop pretventing it from pulling thru.. I keep 3 or 4 matching sets in the centre console.. tearing them out of either the canvas or the body becomes pretty regular when ya have your roof on off on off on off on off.. during a Melbourne summer... |
