G'day all

as in the topic, i've noticed that my seat belts do not retract or rather do it with my little help.
is it normal problem with nearly 20 years old seat belt in a sierra or it's just in mine?
is there any way to recondition the seat belt mechanism or i should get another belts?
seat belt is the only safety feature a sierra have, so i preffer it working :)

clean the 20yrs of grime off the loop thing up on the pillar & spray the belts with silicone spray or take them off & wash them with sunsilk shampoo (yes i'm serious with the shampoo)

dont spray belts with anything if you drive wearing clothes youd rather not have lines of shit on

but yes try a good clean, otherwise they arent dear to replace, the retract part isnt a function of the inertia lock though so wont be any worse off in a prang
