It's not the carby that restricts the G16a's, it the G16a's... If your going to put a bigger carb on, looki into getting a cam, not a big one, but bigger than std, or you will just be wasting coin.. You WILL be impressed with a cam.. |

Welcome to AZ Kris, what side of Adelaide are you on? The best option would be the G16a Carby, the weber's can be made to work, people are also running the carby off the 4k Corolla motor... but I think they're running them on the 1.3's There is a massive amount of info on Sierra Carb upgrades... you just need to find it. |

i don't know much about carbies, but i have a standard vitara carbie with g16a in my sierra and it works well, no problems with driving on angles. however it's really worth to get it recondition or at least tuned up by specialist, unless you can do it by yourself. kris |

1.6 block 1.3 head 1.3 manifolds and carby (rejetted to 90/150 for fuel econ and best torque at WOT). 105/142 was awesome, except fuel econ sucked (best torque at any throttle position (except idle). |
