Just wire it all up now, then it's just a case of fitting the lights. Tell Mrs Rusho that it's an important safety issue, that way she won't think you're trying to dodge changing dirty nappies

I think ive found everything to make it simple unplug headlights, plug the adaptor into a standard headlight plug, plug the new plugs into your headlights, run a wire inside for the spotlight switch and hook up power to a battery

all up made to fit should be under $100 I think

Righto...Just to clarify something. I only need to remove (for argument sake) the drivers side plug off the headlight to upgrade the loom, correct?? Passenger side stays untouched and left as original?

no, you are powering both lights via the relays, so you run new wire from relays to headlights, you only need to get a trigger supply from one headlight though

So the passenger side plug will just flap in the breeze so to speak

Further more, aren't the relays suppose to be earthed :? The diagram doesn't really show it to be so. I know mine currently has a loop coming out of it to the body. I am going to tear all this out tomorrow and start fresh anyway. Your diagram had better be legitimate royce :P

relay gets power to switch the coil via the stock plug and then earths back through the stock plugs which travels to the dipper switch and earths under the dash somewhere

Dont let it get you down, if its any consolation, most home, industrial, high voltage Electricians cant understand what the hell is going on either, you wanna see what happens when some of em try and fit an alarm or stereo :)
