I just put a Holley 180 on mine, Revs right through to 5500rpm now (not sure if thats better then normal but was better then my stock carby) havent hit any angels yet but its nicer to drive on the road. Ive noticed tho that on my first tank i lost 20-30kms of fuel economy. although I think thats because Its revving out alot more now Ron |

Should be a very noticeable difference with the holley 180. You did port the intake to match the base of teh holley? |

X3. 5500rpm is well under rpm for peak HP for a 1.3. You had a problem with the stock carb. As for Holleys on sierras, I have nothing to add. Steve. |

As for Holleys on sierras, I have nothing to add. Steve. Peak HP for the 1.3 is right on redline at 6500rpm i believe. |

Mate refering back to JrZook's post, did you port the inlet manifold to clear the larger butterfly |

With the weber, you get a spacer, and first up I never changed the inlet manifold, but that was rectified, now I have opened up the inlet manifold, she pulls hard, for a 1.3, right up to 7 grand. Steve, without very large angles, a weber or holley is quite a powerful upgrade. |
