are they the same specs as a sierra rear,
can a sierra/jimny auto locker fit into a lj rear or not, cheers

No, the LJ50/LJ80/Stockman/1.0lt Sierra diffs are smaller than a 1.3 Sierra/Jimny.

The only auto locker for them is a specific fit, the lockright 1520, which is now out of production, but some sellers might still have stock.
