Hey Guys,

After smashing my front diff to pieces, I am now in a position where I need to source a new set of gears to put in my steel GV carrier & housing.

The diff I blew up was 26 spline, 10 bolt with 5.12 gears.

So the question I have is, does anyone know if the rear 5.12 ring and pinion (provided it is 10 bolt of course) will go into the front carrier correctly?

I'm in the process of sourcing an air locker to go with the install, so it may be an option to just buy the centre to suit the ring and pinion?

Cheers in advance for the help.

Buy the locker to suit the CV's = RD88. Pretty sure the only difference in the front diff's is the spline count on the side gears, so any 5.12 front will do. The rear diffs are a lot larger that the fronts so I don't think that will work.
