I've borrowed some stock NT rims for a little while. They fit over the Vit calipers, but only just. There is about 7mm between the outside of the caliper and the inside of the rim (behind the "spokes"). The distance between the top of the caliper and the band of the rim is about 6mm. NCOP states: "All brake components shall clear other vehicle components such as wheels, suspension members and chassis members over the full range of steering and suspension travel. It is recommended that a clearance of at least 10mm be provided at all such locations" I don't think the Engineer is going to like these rims... Do later model Sierra rims have more offset? Do Vit rims have more offset? I hope I don't have to bolt the Sierra calipers back on |

Id say that he would be using a fine comb to see that, and if he did, and pinged you on it, it would mean he is a very pedantic prick. You have upgraded your brakes, so they work a lot better, and 3mm stuff all. After all, it is RECOMMENDED, not set in concrete. |

have a look at a SQGV, there is only a few mm clearance between their calipers and the internal edge of the rim.. |
