Alien I doubt those lifting eyes would pass in any other state. WA must be more relaxed with their rules. |

yeh thats been brought up on here before... engineer passed it and so did 2 lots of transport inspectors. engineer said as long as all deflection was away from the car and not under it then the bar is fine. i mentioned exposed front tyres and bar height meaning any person that meets it is going under regardless and he said "thats not the law though, the law is just that deflections should be away from the vehicle". ie: the cattle collector bars with the forward swoop at the bottom are illegal because they deflect upward into the car. they were more concerned about the park/indicators up front - but theyre ADR approved and very bright (on the right angle). |
