I want this more for the factor of the EFI, the power is just a bonus. I've searched the forum and found multiple threads on the conversion but nothing relating to my question. My questions: -How much do you think it would cost for a mechanic to do this? And WOULD a mechanic do this? -Is it worth it? Not much chop when it comes to the running parts on my car, so I wanna leave it to the pro's Cheers! |

Hmm, looks as though I might just find some time and figure it out myself! Using a few of the build threads as guidelines |

I sourced a complete engine and a already modified engine loom quite cheap. Anyone can pull an engine out, I did mine myself in a morning. I'm ordering a petroworks kits unless u have a body lift. While ur engine is out rust proof ur engine bay throw in a new clutch. Engine in is just as easy. Then u can buy nodded looms off eBay on a exchange basis. Pretty much plug and play. Heaps of info on this site bout the electric side of things. Don't forget to do sump pickup mod. Then just run a ext fuel pump. Hook it all up. Hey presto. Or u could do all the eng work then just tow it to a auto sparky and get them to run loom. It would be reasonably cheap. |
