Each time I play with a multi meter, I blow them up, But I can work a mean test light ;)

I was thinking of using it for front fog lights.

I need to get rid of the operate only when lights are on wire, so my LED reverse lights can be used without lights on.

Wouldn't be easier to add a simple over ride switch, that way they can be manually on or automatically activated. ?

Find the wire that switches with the lights on and change it to a reverse light wire?

I have them via the fog switch so that i can just flick them on when i need them, i only use them when reversing down my long narrow driveway.
Theyre quite bright, and dont need them on all evrytime i reverse.

If they are bright, cool, keep them as a individual light that you can manually turn on. This way, those lovely people who drive up your arse with high beam can be told.

then find the lights on power input (hopefully its seperate to teh internal illumination wire and change it to either have power all the time or power with ignition

Hi all,

Looking at installing a pair of foglights into my 91 vitara jlx, it already has the button there for the fog lights. Not sure whether it is wired in.

If it is what wires do I hook the fog lights up to?

Button will turn on the lights in the rear bumper, you'd have to run new wiring to the front.
