Prep for 1.6efi install in Sierra!

Post subject:  Prep for 1.6efi install in Sierra!
Just found out my petroworks kit is on it's way from lowrange. So I've got a couple of quick questions to ask.


The fuel pump. I can just use my standard tank and rig up an external mounted high pressure pump. Now should just go buy a Bosch vl turbo pump or is there a cheaper better option??

The clutch. Everyone says hd clutches are bad luck. I'm keeping the 1.3 box. So I think I'll just run a well known STD clutch? Exedy?

Radiator. Aftermarket alluminium 1.3 or a vitara one??

Main rear seal. Are all the 1.6efi the same as I purchased a import one. If u find the engine number can I just rake that to Suzuki?? Is there any other seals I should purchase at the same time say sump seal??

I think I'll just buy a genuine clutch cable and always keep my old one as a spare inboard if I go hd

If I run the standard Sierra tank my mate says I'll have to do a lift pump and surge tank?? Is this true??

Use the vitara radiator with the fan shroud and viscous fan. It looks neater and it's designed for the 1.6L engine so no cooling problems.

You dont need a lift pump or surge tank.

And im the same again, vl pump, hd clutch and stock radiator with a 10inch thermo.

The guy who I bought the engine off was an autosparky he modded the loom for me.

There's a guy on eBay that does a loom exchange I think like 350 or something. U give him ur loom and he returns a modded one.

just had a look $420 all up! thats a hefty sum but firing up first go is also very attractive. maybe I just need to jump into bed with an auto eleky :)
