Hi all, just a quick question. I have some good spare standard rear springs and was wondering can I put them up the front and keep the rears in with extend rear shackles? Will Extend the front chassis and move the front hanger too. I have some rear commodore wagon shocks and also some bilstein landy defender shocks for the extra height. Just need some lux ones for rear I suppose. Not sure if the landy ones would be suitable but they are expensive bilsteins so I hope! Cheers! |

Your plans sound fine, but the defender shocks won't work - they are far too stiff for a leaf sprung application and will make the ride terrible. Steve. |

Hi Royce, I don't get it...the mounts moved in on their own from stress or you moved them? Thanks |

Sorry I thought you were being sarcastic about it working well that's all lol. I'll look into it. I would of thought you wouldn't have to move them. This is rear defender shocks we are talking in the front of Sierra yeah? |

no defender rear in sierra rear Commodore wagon rear shocks are the stingy sierra owner shock of choice for the front of a sierra |

Ahh ok, lol I was going to put the defender ones in the front so I was a bit confused. That's cool then i'll just have to sort the front out with commodore pedders shocks...1 over standard haha. |
