Hi Gents, I'm going 40mm lift with OME kit, Would you recommend Castor correction? what is the experiences from others here with the same kit? Is the steering vague and does it not self-centre? All the castor corretcion kits I see for sale are for '2inch' lift, 40mm is a little less, so I'm not sure if i'd be wasting my effort and time. help |

Don't need it for a 40mm lift, but, with it the steering will feel very solid and cornering will be improved too. Overall the Jim will drive much better. |

When I got the OME 40mm kit, I thought I was going to die - the steering wobble was that bad. (about when I hit 70kmph). I had never experienced anything like it. I then got a 3degree castor correction and then the Jimny felt perfect...at any speed. So I'd say, only get the castor correction if you need it judging by other comments. |

When I got my 40mm lift done I was told the same and it was only after getting an alignment check that it was noticed that the castor was out and I had fitted adjustable castors to bring it back to specs and now there is a big difference in the way it handles. Paul |
