hey guy... I have a 1984 sierra sj50 and when i was driving home one day, under acceleration i had this vibration from the rear of the vehicle and the vibration sped up and got worse the faster i went. I have just the other day replaced the rear wheel bearings, rear diff carrier bearing/pinion bearing and put a locker in.

When i was putting the diff back in, the uni joint that attaches to the diff flange was REALLY stiff and the grease nipple had been snapped off. So that meant the uni joint was really dry!!!

Would that Uni Joint cause vibration under acceleration and make a squwark noise at times?? :?

X2 - uni is fawked. Change it now before it fails and wipes out your driveshaft, turning a $30 job into a $300 job.
