hey guys,

I have run into abit of a problem with the LJ, everything is wired up and ready to go however i'm not getting any spark. The engine is a F10a with a later model sierra dizzy with a coil to suit. This is how i have everything wired:

*pos batt -> starter

*neg batt -> block

*neg from block -> firewall

*pos 12v igntion feed -> pos of coil

*brown dizzy wire -> pos coil

*black dizzy wire -> neg coil

I have taken No.1 plug out and can't get any spark from it. The dizzy has a new cap and rotor. The pos coil is recieving a strong 12v ignition feed. The neg on the coil is also lighting up my test light with a pos signal but not as bright.

I read on other threads to put a test light on the pos batt and neg coil and it should flash however mine just stayed on when the ignition was on and then turned off when cranking the engine.

Any ideas on what the problem could be guys? How do i go about testing the coil and distributor? :cry:

thanks!! :helloo:
