What benefits? someone gets $ from you, different option of primary and secondary throat sized, however most likely to benefit someone elses pocket
How? with tools
Which carby? vit for 1.6, can use toyota 4k (1300), or 5k (1500) too.

To get the most out of the 1.3 carby, you can rejet it...

To get the most out of any other carby you bolt up, you need to jet it properly.
To just vaguley say, yeah its got heaps more go with this xxxx carby on.. is all well and good, but unless there is specific evidence of improving air/fuel ratio to increase power at certain rev ranges, and improving air mass flow rate... its not really useful.

Similar usefulness to mr x's awesome car goes great.. smokes commodores at the lights, which has no measureable use at all as what it really means is someones manhood is 3" long, and they are full of it.

I would consider a rejet (go "purchase" jets from wreckers).
I have a 1.6 with 1.3 head, manifold and carby etc.
105 primary (currently in stock secondary), and 141 secondary has oodles of go (max torque at any throttle position, but chews fuel).
Id suspect the 1.3 will be similar.

EDIT: chews fuel... at partial throttle (in traffic and what not)... when your rocketing down the highway similar fuel consumption as stock 1.3
