Just started a thread for you guys to spread your accumalative knowledge in one field.

I've done a search and i have trouble finding information on lockers which suit the Jimny. It is difficult with such a broad search range.

What i thought might be a handy idea for everyone would be if you HAVE, have USED, or KNOW OF any lockers to suit only the Jimny's.

We may be able to give some people an easy starting point and time saver when it comes to researching (part numbers would also be appreciated).

Hopefully this will open a door to clarify alot of options through-out the suzuki ranges and modification components. So jump in fellow zookaholics.

Mitch.

There is a guy witha soft top who has a front autolocker, he cant remember the model number he used which is a bummer.

Other wise only autos and Air lockers available for the rear

Thanks guys for the fast replies. Trying to be vehicle specific here. So if you have a different model or part (ie, bullbar, snorkel), feel free to rack off (or start another thread...advised option).

I tried a Phantom Grip in the front of my 08 Jim (88&118) and found it to be next to useless. Designed for race cars but not helpful at all when one wheel is in the air.

I now have ARB lockers front and rear and they allow me to do climbs I just could not do open wheeled.

I also reckon if i had standard CV's I'd be breaking them all the time. With the combination of 26 spline Italian axles and Heavy Duty American CV's they have remained solid. Probably break the T-case next :P

I also have the tyre pump compressor and it has proved very useful.

Hope this helps
