Hi
Was wondering if anyone knows the best way to adjust an ARB steel winch bar after doing a 2" bodylift to make it sit back where it should?
It's on a 92 LWB vitara.

not much you can do except cut the old mounts off and reweld 2 inchs lower to get it at the right height.

Or get new mounts fabbed up to deal with the increased leverage you will put on the mounts due to new winch position.

Either way make sure its done properly, you don't want to rip the bar off when winching due to insufficient mounting.

mate i have some designs for my brackets which are to suit a 96 swb vitara with 2" bl. but i have been told that the lwb and swb brackets are totally different. if not, ill put up a pic for ya.

check out darkhorse thread for the brackets he got made.

If it is a 4 door bar than you can drill some holes in the cradle to lift the bar up....no welding needed.

I'll have a look at that thread but I'm quite sure that LWB and SWB will be different.

So it's just a case of re-drilling the mounting holes in the bull bar 2" lower down which results in it being lifted up 2"?
