Got a GV3 with the zook nudge bar. Went wheeling a couple of weeks back along some tracks up here(Carnarvon) near the ocean and hit a big pothole that covered the car in mud and shit. Great fun. Got back after camping out for a week and the mud and shit washed off the body work no wuckers but the nudge bar is stained and nothing (even a dish scourer) will shift the shit. Any suggestions ..and does anyone know if they are covered under a new car warranty |

Is this the plastic or the alloy? Softops are the same and jeeps have this problem also with the large plastics they have. Normally warm soapy water and a spongy. Then when dry hit it with tyre shine or meguiars. Will come up like new. http://www.meguiars.com.au/productdetai ... tegory=CAR CARE&subcat=Interior Care&subsubcat=&show=1 Or looking on that site, I actually found this which would be handy to clean for softops! http://www.meguiars.com.au/productdetai ... tegory=CAR CARE&subcat=Glass, Clear Plastic and Exterior Trim&subsubcat=&show=1 |

I like brasso but it can be a bit harder to find. I have never tried but have heard of toothpaste being used to remove metal stains. If it's chrome plated try a bit of dexron. |

Brasso is good stuff! Especially on a buffer wheel. |

autosol is awesome pickling paste i dont think he'll need something that harsh. blitz is also pretty good but will leave it dull so you need to get the other chemtech thing to bring it back again. And a scourer probably wont be that good, a proper scotch brite for metal polishing works 100 times better. but if you use it it will put lots of little scratches into the alloy letting dirt and crap to stick better so the next time you go wheeling it will be harder to get off. if you use proper scotch brite then use autosol after wards should bring it back to a bright finish. |

LIQUID REFLECTION is what I have used for years.... Most electro(chrome)platers use it too as it is the best available.
