Over the past couple of weeks I've noticed a vibration coming through the rear, it's only when I've come to a complete stop and I'm taking off when it's at its worst. I can see the transfer stick vibrating quite erratic, I'm just wondering what could cause this? I'm leaning towards the tail shaft - Uni joints. |

Is it a harmonic vibration?? Or a transfer mount broken vibration?? |

It's not a broken transfer mount. I've looked countless times, it's harmonic for sure, just worse under load more than anything. |

Hey Chris i had the same problem in bullant and it was the uni's on the jack shaft from the gearbox to tranfercase not the rear tail shaft like i first thought 
To check if it's the jack shaft just put the transfer in neutral and go through the gears and see if the vibration is still there |

To check if it's the jack shaft just put the transfer in neutral and go through the gears and see if the vibration is still there knock the tcase into N and put it through it's gears, thats how u realised my jack shaft uni's were no good..... |

I bought from this guy a week ago http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Uni-Joint-SE ... 35a996189d GMB brand (good) express posted the same day I got Vit ones so may pay to ask if the sierra ones are still gmb brand |
