Over the past couple of weeks I've noticed a vibration coming through the rear, it's only when I've come to a complete stop and I'm taking off when it's at its worst. I can see the transfer stick vibrating quite erratic, I'm just wondering what could cause this? I'm leaning towards the tail shaft - Uni joints.

Is it a harmonic vibration?? Or a transfer mount broken vibration??

It's not a broken transfer mount. I've looked countless times, it's harmonic for sure, just worse under load more than anything.

I'm only guessing, process of elimination really. Local bearing supply shops are usually a good place for uni's, ebay, Weaves

Hey Chris i had the same problem in bullant and it was the uni's on the jack shaft from the gearbox to tranfercase not the rear tail shaft like i first thought
To check if it's the jack shaft just put the transfer in neutral and go through the gears and see if the vibration is still there

just recently replaced them mate. I checked the jackshaft today no vibration with transfer in neutral. Im sorting out uni joints today... All of the transfer mounts look good, worth replacing anyway?
