Pretty sure you can buy one specifically for a sierra for like $15 or universal for $25. Cheaper then a 6 pack |

I've always just lined it up by sight and feel and never had any issues. |

Finger works well. Mechanics cannot have every clutch alignment tool made, have seen many a mechanic use the ole finger method. Myself included. Its all about feel, your finger will easily sus out alignment. If you cannot source a tool. Tool is probably better, but finger is good. |

Cheaper then a 6 pack those plastic universal ones are bad !!! i had nothing but trouble using it i used my eye and we made out own tool .. best bet is get a sierra one |

I did the Jim clutch with the gearbox in. just get a small mirror and torch and line it up by eye. |

I usually align all my clutches by feel, except for heavy arse truck ones that sit in a deep recess. |

I have an input shaft here if you get desperate... Nothing like the real thing to align a clutch although I've never used it.... |
