ok there has be a bit of talk of this... i want new head lamps. i have some atm and they are OK... if you don't like to see where your going... i recently went for a spin in 00zuk and that had amazing lights. loved it. Steve was saying that it runs ipf lamps? low range do them at $30 each thats not bad imo. are there any others? what do you have and what is your opinion of them? i will be upgrading my wiring as well.. just wanted to know what actual lamps people run, oh and what globes? Are you joking or what? So many threads on headlights lately and you want a new one? Lowrange ones will not be adr approved. The shape of the beam will go the wrong way. H4 headlights/housings with wiring upgrade.. You should already have h4 globes and housings in a coily. |

My LWB came fitted with sealed beams, changed them to cheap Narva H4 housings with Tungsram 90/100 globes, relays and upgraded wiring. They seem ok and are certainly better than the std lights on the missus's VS commo (with +30 Narva globes) or my Rodeo with 90/100 globes and relayed/upgraded wiring. |

I've run +80's and +90's and they didn't last very long due to vibration. The +80's lasted about 2 years and the +90's lasted a few months. |

I run ebay H4 reflectors plus phillips globes and a loom upgrade and my sierra's lights are far superior to my 350z now....go figure. Maybe just try globes and loom first. Buy the reflectors if they still turn out too dull. I personally think the biggest gain is in these two areas if you've already got relatively new reflectors. |

Yeah, use the day to night philips globes. They're a bit yellower as opposed to blueish like everything else really bright - much better for seeing in all sorts of weather. These are the lamps I got. Love em, no gimmicks, great focus and throw of light. If you bid now rather than buy you might be able to pick em up for 1/2 price http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Patro ... 309wt_1098 |

Go forth at your peril type stuff. Me, A wiring upgrade is the ducks guts, after all, its a slow lil car, not like its a 300kph monster. My stock lights, with wiring upgrade is wonderful, more than enuf for my lil zook, have driving lights that I could put on, but, the lights are sufficient with the wiring upgrade, and the slow speed, read 110k, of the zook, if i wanted to go that fast. |

rick what did you pay for the narva housings? About $80 the pair from memory. I got the ones with parker globes in them as i have LED front blinkers with no parkers. The wiring upgrade is proberly the most important thing. With my std wiring it was only getting just over 11v to the globe with the engine running. Its now getting 13.8v. A couple of volts at the globe makes a huge differance to light output. |

Ditto, far as I'm concerned, they should be banned. |
