I have seem to remember mention of changing the wiring on the airlocker switches to be able to activate the front locker independent of the rear?
I have followed the standard wiring diagram and the front locker will not activate until the rear is also switched on. I have the little compressor so its the 'CKA12 12 volt' diagram.

Is anyone able to tell me what to switch or change to make them independent?

Unplug yellow from switch 2, make a new wire to plug into the spot where yellow was and tap it into teh red wire on switch one

I never saw any real benefit in doing this unless your car was setup for front dig....

bit of a bump... i'll probably do this "just cos" - but has anyone had the NEED for front only with an open rear??? I can't think of when it would be an advantage to lock the front and unlock the back???

fronts against a big ledge, rears on a side slope, fronts will pull you up the ledge, keeping the rear open will mean one tyre isnt spinning so will hold against teh slope a bit better

Or rear is hooked up well and trying to drive under you.

Just wire the red wire from the rear locker up to the yellow wire on the front switch.
