Hi can anyone help me, I have had the indicators fixed twice in twelve months at the same auto electrician and they just went again. I watched him replace the mechanism last time he did it. Its not the fuses, checked it, its not globes - its this cylindrical thingymabob under the steering column? if i new the name i could buy it. I think this guy is dodgy - he is not my mechanic - my mechanic is way over the other side of town and its a pain for such a small two minute job. Car is a 1994 suzuki vitara JLX - thanks

Just had a thought - is it a transponder? and if so why does it keep stuffing up?

Can I guess that the problem you have is sometimes it buzzes and the right hand indicator sort of glows dim?
