| Post subject: | lux diffs engineers and legalities |
so i want to run lux front diff and bundy rear, but im getting scared as those in the know reckon i wont be able to get it mod plated. is this a ridiculous mod to do and where how who and what can i do to get it mod plated? any help will be helpful. |

Its still legal in Nsw so i would think it would be still legal in the relaxed territory with fireworks.. |

The best thing to do would be to talk to an engineer. I was looking at getting bundy diffs mod plated on my ute before i decided to make it a trailer queen. I did find an engineer who was ok with it, but i would have only been able to run the standard size tyres for the diffs (about a 31"). Get in touch with the transport department in your area to, they should be able to give you some contact details for engineers. |

yeah but the n.t has 2 engineers that specialise in this area, that and im moving back to qld next year. |

Unlucky Shep. I too have some decent crackers here. Have to use 80mm fence post to launch em. BOOOM Ps. Joel, Apply for TAC approval. If they are the coolness over it I have a mate that does alot of engineering for serious suspension mods. He lives up here with us. He will be engineering my SPOA and other lift. Pm and i'll ask him some q's for ya. |
