i have a 92 swb tin top..
have 2inch lift.. but also want a 2inch bl . just to get little bit more clearance from the arches.. iv bashed the hell out of them to get them away but they are still cutting up my muddies. (30's)
with this 2inch bl. will i require extended brake lines if so how long ?
and where do you guy recommend buying this equipment from? id do the work myself , but just cost wise where is the best place to go ? is there any supporting vendors to auszookers ?
also views on hockey puck lift ? i play icehockey and have a lot of these pucks lying around what is the view on doing this ? i'v sensed from other forums its a bad thing but some ppl say its great.. will this work with a sierra being so light anyway ?
any help , links , guidance will be great thanks guys

Body lift only lifts the body up from the chassis, so no need to extend brake lines.
You need to get a body lift off Just_Cruizin. It is complete for everything you need. Not worth the effort of booty fabbing it yourself IMO

<<<< best lift kit
http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/suzuki.html <<< shit body lift kit but alot of other kewl shit
the kit u get from low range isnt as good i had to dril my Body blocks out
My views on body lifts are u shouldnt really need them unless ur planing on running something like 33's even then u should need it .. just cut .
but for 30s .. i dont understand how u could run 30s with 2 inch lift and scub ?..
has ur kit sagged ? maby take a bigger hammer to the car haha

Same thing again that has been discussed millions of times already.
A spring lift, lifts the static vehicle height. If the springs work properly the axle will still hit the stock bump stop as with stock springs. 30" tires have a 2inch greater radius than stock 26' tires. Thus if the car was on the stock bump stops with 26' tires and had ~40mm clearance to the guards, the 30' will much the guards by 10mm!

ok well i bought a kit from low range ..
http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... lifts.html
and what i found is that i had to drill some of the blocks out bigger ..
but also the blocks are poly with no metal insert
now this could just be a dodgy set of blocks i got .. but from what i under stand the sky kit does not have metal inserts that would give it more strength and long gev ... not sure if that is a problem but u may find the u need to drill out the big blocks bigger. . that's my experience from the kit

If you're going to the extent of a spring over why not just do a virtual lift? (cut the guards to make the tire fit) & fit longer springs...
Will be a much better outcome in the end and you'll be less likly to back flip your car/roll it off road. haha.

If your suspension kit is working better then standard, ie flexing right up and allowing the wheel to drop further, you will infact loose clearance. Now most suspension kits won't do that as they need extra rigidity to maintain the lift. That said you would need to create extra clearance by either cutting into the body of vehicle, which is ultimately the best idea but for most people a body lift can resolve the clearance issue, not increase the COG by too much as most of the mass is on the chassis and is cheap and easy to install.

Fitting bigger springs that work effectivly, will not help clear a tyre.. Fitting massive springs that are shit house and dont work, will let you fit that tyre. Then you will fall over and die driving down a gutter. And receive no sympathy from anyone on here.
To fit 33's, 2inch body and 2inch suspension with a guard chop and rasied bumps if need will work fine.

sorry, i am all new to the idea of lifting cars and bigger tiers,, i am from a European car background with tight unmovable suspension and about 50mm off the ground which doesnt see a speed hump through to the other side .. .. so im looking at cutting the guards ?
thanks for all your help so far ... any links for cutting guards.. when you say virtual lift, is that taking off arches and cutting it bigger ? any eg.? or pics links ?
