16V 1.3 intake manifold on a 16V1.6 is it possible?

i will be doing a g16b conversion into my sierra soon and i would like to keep the
stock airbox in the stock possie because of my snorkel.

if i use a jimny manifold it would look a lot neater. will it work?

Should bolt straight on as the G16 heads are the exact same as the 13BB

Are they usable or all buggered? The jim runs a MAP sensor and intake air temp to calculate the mass of the ingested air compared to the G16 air flow meter.

For space and ease of installation re: intake piping the MAP is far superior. In terms of performance they are equivalent.

If you were to use the jim intake and injection you would need the jim computer electrics and head (for the cam and camsensor). Unless you adapted the vit AFM to the intake piping of the jim and the idle up motors were the same + the rest of the sensors (or swap them from vit to jim). Then you would run a vit computer and injectors.

I think alien ran the whole jim setup on top of a G16B and it went ok.

Grab as much as you can and see what is salvageable. Take the whole head, wiring loom and computer :).

A baleno manifold might be an option?

If you can graft the vitara throttle body and idle control solenoid on (at worst its some alloy welding and machining then it should all work

The Jim throttle body is pretty small

Then you have to run the top radiator hose from the back of the head because Balenos don't have a water neck/thermostat housing on the inlet manifold.
