Post subject:  electrical plugs on gearbox. what are they for?

hi guys. what are the electrical plugs on the gearbox in a 1990 sierra with 1.3 motor? couple of bits have disconnected themself when i took the motor and box out. do i need them?

theres 3 sets with 2 wires on them. they plug in up at the middle-top of the firewall to the loom.

One is reverse light, the other two are for pollution control, realistically you only need to hook up reverse lights.

yep, put the stick into reverse and the continuity tester will beep, on one of the plugs ;)
