Hi Just wondering which model Suzuki has coils front and rear? I am looking at buying one to build as a budget crawler... Any help will be great..

coily sierra and jimny with solid axles front and back vitara and Grand vitara both have IFS

Coily sierra (95/96 on) Jimny Vitara (IFS though) Just get a leafy sierra and fit Hilux diffs, much cheaper/better.

Would be cheaper/easier/more practical to buy a leafsprung sierra and convert it to coils/airshocks.

Thanks for the info.. I have a very capable GU wagon 5"lift (Superior Engineering) reduction gears and 35's but it is too big and expensive to fix. So I am looking a Suzuki for a play rig and trailer it to places... So thanks for the info...

By the time you engineer all the flaws out of either the coil sierra or jimny suspension when biulding for crawling, you won't be left with any of it, so you might as well start with leaves Suzuki designed the coil suspension of the Jimny/coil sierra for road use. It has no more travel than leaf suspension standard and is harder to reengineer for more travel. They are radius arm design which is a poor candidate for a crawler as it doesn't articulate well on a light car. Steve.
