Building my shorty vitara for next years Tuff Truck are the original engine mounts up for this .Was going to cut them of and fab up some as I have done before but if they are strong enough its one thing less to do any thoughts. Duncan |

They will be up for it just add some straps mounts to them to tie them down |

Depends on how much u actully doing to it. Reduction gears etc. Will cause more strain on them. Depends on your other options of aftermarket as well as they will be stiffer too. Building a custom truck all comes down to trial and error. |

Think i will go the tried and tested method of useing suspension bushes for mounts for the engine and gear box. |

Use the softest ones you can find. Otherwise the vibration will drive you nuts! |
