can anyone point me in the direction of a nicely made high mount turbo manifold for a gti engine in a sierra ?

haha thats crisby off of redlinegti , he does some nice manifolds at a very good price , but i want the turbo to sit on top of the manifold.

like i said , i can build my own , but just need some inspiration , all the manifolds ive seen of turbo gti engines in sierras were a shitty log type.

I have his cast type and it's great so far. I'm not chasing big power.

Look AF maybe a high mount sr one and change flange plate to head!!??

More a side mount manifold than a top mount but it fits nicely! Made from steam pipe..

first of all i want to keep it up out of the water , secondly i want to run a short pipe straight to the (custom) airbox and then a snorkle. also i think having it high mounted will also leave a lot of room for other things down the track.

yes it will be road legal .

I will be running some sort of cooler as i plan on running 2 stage boost , the turbo has a brand new 11psi wastegate actuator for primary , and i have a mac valve to run 20 psi boost. at first i was thinking of running a water to air intercooler as it can be mounted anyway or anywhere in the car , but i am sort of leaning towards an air to air to keep inlet temps down

A2A will be great for inlet temps, but some f the W2A IC's these days are getting mighty compact and efficient. The Laminova core would far exceed the A2A cores for efficiency when you consider the surface areas being used.

Personally I'd lean towards the W2A ic if possible - there won't be alot of airflow at offroad speeds to scrub the heat off an A2A ic. Could heat soak quite easily I'd imagine. Just my 2c of course! ;)
