Okay does any body know where to get the little metal thing that goes in the back of the timming belt tensioner bearing.
My engine has chewed it up to pieces, and bent the bolt.
It's for a g16a
I tried a g13a one but it's a different design and doesn't line up with the bolt hole

Cheers

Hey Zooky08, I am almost finished my g16a with g13 head and needed one of these. I managed to get a 2nd hand one for $10 from Suzisport Lawnton. Could probably try a wreckers too.

Is that included postage
I just got stuff from suzistore
If I new I need one I would of got one

Any wreckers around me won't part with one
They will want to sell the engine as complete

Would it be a bad idea to mod the g13 one to fit?

they charged me $1.10 for postage and it arrived in a business envelope :D Then I saw they only put a 60c stamp on it.... I want my 50c back :P

I looked at modding the g13 one but it's pretty much completely different. Looking at the g16 plate it's so simple you could prob cut one out of 1mm tin if you were keen lol

Edit: I'll try and get a pic of them tomorrow for ya to show the difference between the 2

I've got a g13a one and the slide doesn't reach the hole to put the stud in
I guess the g13ba are the same

I would make one out of 2mm plate but is it really worth it
Like 10 bucks you say
I don't even have 10 bucks haha

What actually keeps the belt slipping of the cam gear
I've got the tensioner tight as and it still wants to slowly come off when cranky
I see it's been rubbing on my timing cover

one of the pulleys is out of alignment

Most likely will be the tensioner
Crank cog and can gear wouldn't be out of alignment unless I've bent the shaft?
