Hey guys, Just about finished my 4age conversion but having some troubles getting the clutch pedal to operate correctly with the new clutch master. i was speaking to "brenno" and he has given some good advice but i was wondering if anyone else has every done this and if there is such a thing as an "easy way" to do it. It's the second last thing on my list of things before i can take it for a drive. Any help/pics would be appreciated. Cheers Fletcher |

I've got my slave under the brake booster just over half way down the clutch pedel, defiantly not advisable, it works tho, it's just hard as fuck and there's no happy/medium or riding the clutch , it's IN OR OUT, I've been looking at putting a Toyota hiace or some kind of van clutch up under the dash and reverse the slave under the dash by extending the clutch pedal Slightly, or an even easier option if I can find an auto box, I'm having trouble finding 1 Also my clutch has been pissing me off since conversion I was thinking of going back to cable and making a reverse pivot arm bolted to the gearbox to operated the clutch fork, I've seen it done on a paddock basher farm hak Zuke with a 4ac engine, Just bit of food for thought Cheers kermy87 |

Whats not working properly? Is it not fully disengageing (or engaging depending what way you look at it) Ie; can you not get it into gear. I had to make a new pushrod for the slave cylinder to get mine to work, just an old bolt cut down worked fine. Give me some more info and I might have another suggestion. |
