Post subject:  Ecu sticker meaning

Hey guys
Trying to find a spare ecu for my baleno.
Been ringing around some wreckers and it looks like the majority of the numbers are the same. However the top number and letter combinations are different.
Eg
Mine is 6C
Some at the wreckers are as followed
6B
6K

What do the letters indicate?
Are the compatible or would the pin configuration be different?
Cheers

Find the part number - it will go along the lines of 33920-65GA0 - if you can match that number it will work - the number you are looking at 6B/6C/6K most likely relates to a firmware revision - so to speak a different fuel or timing map.

Please note - this does not mean that a different number won't work - different ECUs were used in different markets to meet different emission regulations, some may have had different sensors & harness, some may not.

If you can provide the part number (the exapmle I gave is an SY413 with a manual transmission) and the VIN number of the vehicle I may be able to assist with more information.
