I've got a stock SWB 1990 Vitara and I've slowly been collecting some suspension parts to give it a budget lift. I'm going to be putting on the following: - A set of LWB Vitara Springs (longer than SWB due to the increased weight of LWB, should get some lift out of it) - A set of 15mm/30mm poly spring spacers - A pair of 15mm strut spacers - A pair of IronMan LWB Vit extended rear shocks. Also got some camber bolts to correct any changes up front. Think it'll be alright? |

have you got front & rear LWB vit springs, you might not get much out of the front but the rear should give you 40mm'ish i guess. then chucking the 15mm spacer & strut spacer in the front to try & balance it out could work well. it's always going to be a bit of a guessing game, i've never messed around with spacers & other springs but there is heaps of info out there. the rear you really should flex it with no shocks & measure to get the correct lengths. |

Yeah, have the full set of LWB springs. Hopefully they give a little lift in the front. Would be a bit of a pain to have the ass-end of the car high up and the front only at stock |

if you get 40 out of the rear and none out of the front just with the springs you could swap the spacers around and use the 15s in the rear and run the 30s in the front just a little cut on the front to level it out. my lwb runs pretty similar setup i just have king spring in the rear and run flipped mounts. it sits a little higher in the front but i was to lazy to cut spring to level it out. i had it the other way and found the big spacers stopped a fair bit of flex in the rear. |

Well I've gotten my parts so far. I've got a set of LWB Vit stock coils, a pair of Ironman LWB Vit rear shocks, 15mm/30mm coil spacers, 15mm strut spacers and a set of camber bolts. If I flip the strut mount and also add a 15mm spacer, will that be too much for the (hopefully) longer LWB springs and the coilspacer? |
