Just a quicky, I know of someone that wants to get rid of a set of muddies, For the price he's asking I'm pretty keen for them. They all appear to be the same if not very similar tread pattern, but each tyre is a different brand. All are the same size. Get 'em or just get an equal matching set? |

Get equal matching tyres unless its a dodgy who cares type rig. |

so the tread pattern is the same??? If they are exactly the same pattern have a close look at the shoulder of the tyre all the way around and you should find the words "RETREAD" there somewhere. Trust me. have a look |

not sure about NSW, but in Qld you have to have matching tyres, two front have to be the same, and two rears have to be the same. You can't have 4 different brands/tread patterns, as far as i know. |

hmm, that would explain something I noticed. I didn't notice the lettering retread because they havn't been washed and are covered in mud, But I did notice that one or two of the tyres still had a decent mould mark, not your typical bits that stick out. Also the other downside is a lug has been ripped off. That would also be a result of retreads. Thanks guy's, I'll steer clear of them. |
