![]() It is the easiest, and safest way. But can be done by various back yard methods. There is lots of topics on here, if you decide to give it a go. I did mine without any presses or special tools, but was wishing I did. (I'm a walking, talking special tool) |

lol i am giving it a go today wish me luck just with basic tools i got a mate who can pres it in for me i just wanted to know weather i was gonna wast time trying to get it in myself |

youll have more trouble getting the locking nut on and off than the bearing in and out of the hub really |

Ain't that the truth! I managed to 'break' my breaker bar.... it is a 50yr old sidchrome set (back when they used good quality steel in them) but even so, waited the week or so for the BenT locknut tool and then snapped the breaker.... |

oh great...... My front wheel bearing is gone in my GV and i have just ordered BenT tool to replace it. all these stories aren't filling me with confidence |

I made a 'tool' up for pressing the bearings out of the front hubs on the weekend. So if you guys are in brissy you're more than welcome to swing by and press them out/ in. Can't help with the locking rings though |

nah was a piece of piss getting 1 hub off was a hassle but both are off only 1 sore thumb and a lot of cursing later i am on the home streech now all i gotta do is press the old ones out and the new in and put it all back one bearing fell apart when i pulled the hub off |

they went out easy once we worked out a tool to do it before that we were going how the f******* do you get these out i was just glad the tool has enough deepth to do it with out dropping cv's makes things alot easier |

Well whip the hubs off. It only takes a few minutes to press out old junk and get new ones in. Also whats happening with the longy? |

Yeah I'll try again tomorrow avo I just couldn't get the bottom bolt thing off but have read up on it and will try again and LWB is going ok will get you to do the diffs. But convinced work to allow me to keep it there so I can use works power Just wish I wasn't so keen to buy one there all coming up for sale now after I got 1 |

Take it down to your local sidchrome dealer, they will replace it for you, sidchrome has a lifetime warranty. My old man broke his breaker and they just replaced it for him, no questions |
