It is the easiest, and safest way.
But can be done by various back yard methods.
There is lots of topics on here, if you decide to give it a go.
I did mine without any presses or special tools,
but was wishing I did.
(I'm a walking, talking special tool)

youll have more trouble getting the locking nut on and off than the bearing in and out of the hub really

Ain't that the truth!

I managed to 'break' my breaker bar.... it is a 50yr old sidchrome set (back when they used good quality steel in them) but even so, waited the week or so for the BenT locknut tool and then snapped the breaker....

I made a 'tool' up for pressing the bearings out of the front hubs on the weekend. So if you guys are in brissy you're more than welcome to swing by and press them out/ in. Can't help with the locking rings though

But convinced work to allow me to keep it there so I can use works power :) n dont annoy everyone with the noise and there is alot of that

Take it down to your local sidchrome dealer, they will replace it for you, sidchrome has a lifetime warranty. My old man broke his breaker and they just replaced it for him, no questions
