Post subject:  Aftermarket gauge mounting (pics)
Hey guys, im having a really hard time getting these calibre (oil, water temp and vacuum) gauges to work properly. I was wondering if you guys have installed any such gauges and if you could give me any advice on where to EXACTLY install them... (pictures would be awsome) thanks

just screw them to you dashboard & call it done.

Use all electric gauges not mechanical, too many variables to go wrong, oil lines make a hell of a mess behind the dash,

Vaccume easy, put a tee piece in one of the vaccine lines off the inlet manifold

Oil, get a tee piece from your oil pressure sencor on the exhaust side
Of the engine block

Water temp, drill and tapp hole bigg enough for the water temp sencor in the water gallery in the inlet manifold next to the stock temp sencor

And install gauges like this and forget steps 1,2,3 and do as I do , leave it for later Ron

WOW dude this is what i need. Can you send me pics of where you did all of the above to the engine???

if your putting new gauges in why not just use the stock mounting holes instead of running tee's and drilling and tapping?

ive read that if you put them onto the stock sender units they tend to interfere with the actual reading

U can do that I already had the engine apart with all the tools for the job so done it properly so the original gauges and safety lights still worked as they should , as I've ripped the 1.3 turbo out and put a 4 age in, none are hooked up, at present, put it in the can't be fucked basket :D

As for detailed pics and lines I'll have a look into it and try and get some of the old engine and give u a bit of insight
