hi i got a vitara is a efi model but for some stupid reason the people i bourght it off converted it to carby.
But anyways now im wanting to convert back to efi can anyone help me with the wiring on what to do as im not to sure but have some understanding about it. i just to be alot more clear befor i start doing the conversion.
Btw im only changing the head over as the block is allready a efi block G16B

Have you got all the old wiring etc? It shouldn't be too hard if you do. Maybe take some pics of what you have and post them up, there are a few ppl on AZ that should be able to help you out.

So you managed to get yourself a head. Cool. What have you got wiring wize?

Did the car use to have the wiring you're putting back into it?

On engine conversions I've done before I've seperated the engine loom from the chassis loom so you've just got the wiring that needs to be connected for the engine to run. Then it's straight forward of giving it constant power, ignition power and a start signal.

However if you're putting back something that use to be there, it might be as simple as connecting plugs up...

i found a complete car for $600 bucks which is not to bad at all G16B engine complete and running car got rego and everything pretty good buy if i say so myself. i had a look under my dash (the car im converting) and they cut and removed anything efi so theres nothing there they even filled in the holes where wires came from. i have had a pretty good look at the vitara wireing looms arnt the efi wiring seperate from the main harness anyways? thats what i thourght. but i think that i might be right im just gonna take lots of pics where wires came from and where they go and s on
