okay ive got a project atm, that im doing up and im thinking about the next project already, god i love suzuki's. bloody good little 4wd
my plan is to keep it fairly stock and legal as i can asides a few mods, for a daily driver, and a bit of fun on weekends.
my project atm will be cop bait i reckon, so ill have to use it to drive to my local tracks and trailer it to parks and maby comps down the track.

new project, was thinking of another hardtop swb sierra.
215 km2 muddies to liminate gearing and other cost
maby spring lift, trying to keep it illegal in qld
front and rear airlockers
custom front and rear bars
very small winch, for emergencies.

how capable would it be with the above mods.
will be driving forestry tracts, beach work and a bit of glasshouse.
ill leave my other rig to the narly stuff.
my my first sierra had 235's so i havnt had any experiences with a fairly stock sierra.
ive seen and herd they go pretty far though.
will i be draging the car over obstacles and rocks, having small tyres and no lift?
whats the smallest lift can you get aftemaket? can you get 1" springs? ive only seen 1.5"which are ome springs. i could go 1" in body lift.
i wouldnt need much lift as ill only upgrade to 215's from standard tyres.

cheers

If thats what your after then it all depends on the size of the credit card bill you want!

My zook is stock and runs 215/75/15's with no problems at all. The KM2's are an awsome tire, love mine heaps :D Just those and lockers with get you a bloody long way but if you throw in a 6000lbs tigerz with 6mm synthetic, you will get yourself everywhere worth going!
I wouldn't do the body lift, there is no need, especially if you want to keep it as stock as possible

shit i ment legal in qld
mind me asking how much the km2s were. i know theres a wait on them which sucks. last time i checked. 30's were $320

my project atm has reduction gears, f&r airlockers, 30's and tigerz 9000lb winch. yet to drive it to see how far it will go.
most likely ill drive it to the ground, and the parts will go into the new project
ive got another tintop body lined up as well.

I've had the km2 for 2 years and done 60,000k on them. Paid $250 fitted but they would of gone up. I think that seeing they have lasted 60,000k and will be good for another 60,000ks its not bad :D And getting that sort of k's out of a set of tires, there is no point buying one road set and a mud set. :D
