Any chance someone with a Vitara (non SV model) can do me quick favour? All you need is a phillips head screwdriver, a tape measure and about 3 minutes.
I just need the three measurements in the following picture. All are from the edge of the guard to the top left corner of the indicator cut-out.
As you can see, the template for my cheapy snorkel is just a smidge off and probably isn't going to do my flare much good. Trying to figure out if the indicator position moved between models (unlikely I know), or if the template should just be thrown in the bin altogether
cheers,
Kris

scary!
looks like it just needs to move up 20mm and back 20mm?
have you just held the snorkle over the panel to see where the plastic moulding of it fits comfortably? should be a spot where its an even gap all over.

Cheers fellas. Just to make like difficult, sure enough the indicators are in different positions, mine is about 15mm further down and 15mm further right. Looks much better if I adjust the template to suit your measurements, but its still not quite enough.

The snout that goes through the panel is molded on to the snorkel (you can just see it sitting on the bonnet in the photo) and prevents you from getting it within cooey of how it would fit unfortunately without pulling out the holesaw and going nuts.
Might have to take the guard off completely and get it in the right position against the A pillar/bonnet line and work backwards from there.

Already had dug up the pics in your thread mate, unfortunately the bolt patterns are different between yours and mine. I'll hit up the seller and see if they have one to suit. Dont like my chances lol.

I had seen those snorkels on eBay and could tell they were a reverse of the 1.6l and they had not looked at the 2L
You may need to cut some of the flair to fit that one.

1.6's snorkles are on correct side of the car.
Bound to be differences with wide bodies, Shorties and etc
Hope pic helps, can't go measure, but be the same as the 94LWB.
Mines a 93 LWB

So hows this one going? Did you space it back, cut the flare or send it back?
