hey guys have another stupid question the wifes vitara starts in the mornings first time everytime runs to the school with the kids and returns home, this is where the problem starts it wont start again until an hour later have changed the coil is there anything else i should look at ?

Fuel pump/vapor lock if the pump, or hard lines are getting hot.

I would say the fuel pump is more likely suspect. I would put a fuel pressure gauge on it while it is failing to start and see what you get.

I ave had several pumps that run weak, or do not run at all when they get hot.


On a side note i wonder i you could tell by checking the resistance of the fuel pump motor when hot, and then when cold.

The coil was a good guess, a bad coil will also quit working when it gets hot too.
